As well as offering their finished products in our Machynlleth shop, our members also run workshops sharing their knowledge and skills.

The perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon – book your place or take a friend..


We attempt to find ways of creating a circular economy rather than a PAYE type model for key roles undertaken; these roles don’t pay commission on their shop sales for example in exchange for giving time.

We hope to build a network of 100-150 friends to support our objectives – sharing knowledge through free courses and gatherings in exchange for a small payment. Any surplus after covering our overheads is invested into our various projects related to our aims and objectives.


This might be subsidising natural art materials for young people, growing the ingredients for Cawl with schools or growing flax to explore the production of linen for example. “


Trade Membership

We offer a membership model for makers who would like to sell their products via our shop.
