Product Details

Based on the Japanese method of Kuriniki, Carine will guide you in carving a vessel from a solid block of clay. Your piece can be used to hold condiments or become a treasure or trinket box – for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. The process is slow and immediate and you will reveal your container by hollowing out and refining the interior, exterior and lid. You can also personalise your unique piece by adding details or impressing the surface with something meaningful to you.

All tools and materials are provided including paper and pencils for drawing ideas.

Please bring with you an apron and a towel.

Work produced will take a couple of weeks from start to finish due to the drying and firing time required. You will be notified when it is ready to collect from the Tymhorau shop or it can be posted to you for an additional £5 postage charge.

Saturday 2nd November 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
